Agile Fleet held a highly successful 3rd Annual FleetCommander User Conference on May 22-24 in Ames, IA (the home of one of our clients, Iowa State University). This year’s event was well-attended, with customers returning from the previous year as well as a few brand new clients. They were ready to learn and soak in everything that they could!
The conference was an excellent opportunity for Agile Fleet clients to network with peers and colleagues while learning FleetCommander best practices, tips and tricks, and how to make a good first impression. Here is partial list of organizations in attendance:
- Dickinson College
- Illinois State University
- Indiana University
- Iowa State University
- Michigan Technological University
- National Nuclear Security Administration
- Southern Illinois University
- State of Michigan
- University of Arkansas
- University of Michigan
- University of Notre Dame
- U.S. Department of Defense
- U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
- Virginia Tech
- Whitman College
In order to fuel ourselves, we went to Jethro’s BBQ on Wednesday night. This place has been featured on Travel Channel's, Man vs. Food, with their 5-pound sandwich. No one was brave enough to tackle it as they were already exhausted from tackling their fleet challenges.
Agile Fleet team members present were Ed Smith (President), Matt Wade (V.P. of Client Success), Phelps Rogovoy (Director of Implementation and Support), and Ben Nelson (Client Success Representative). They led discussions on topics including:
- FleetCommander product roadmap
- Reports: interpreting the data, most popular reports, reports best practices
- Most recent enhancements
- How to make a good first impression
- Security: What you need to know
Agile Fleet client successes were the forefront of the conference with Indiana University and other clients showcasing how FleetCommander has helped them overcome fleet challenges and improve the overall effectiveness of their operation.
Just as in the previous year, there was an online pop quiz about the information presented with the winner receiving an Amazon gift card. This is a fun way to summarize and review the material covered that day. Kim Wampler from Dickinson College swept the competition winning both Kahoots and is the new reigning champion... until next year.
Over the course of the 2-day conference, Matt and Phelps covered everything from the basics of FleetCommander to the not-so-well-known features. Participants submitted questions in advance of the conference to be answered during a Q&A session. Attendees also helped answer the questions and we were able to respond to every one by the end of the event.
Did you miss the Agile Fleet User Conference? Plan now to attend next year’s event, tentatively scheduled in the fall of 2019 in Portland, Oregon. For more information, reach out to Matt Wade, VP of Client Success, at email@example.com.
